Better Streets MKE meetup rescheduled
TL;DR: the Better Streets meetup is rescheduled to Thursday, 2/13 at 6pm at Indeed Brewing.
In our last newsletter we announced a meetup this Sunday (2/9) at 1. We've since been alerted to a march organized by the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression to stand against the current administration's attacks on immigrants. For us, better streets are streets where all Milwaukeeans can travel without fear of state violence, regardless of their immigration status. So, we're moving our meetup to avoid a conflict.
Better Streets MKE is hosting a meetup on Thursday, February 13th, at 6 pm at Indeed Brewing. Protect our community by being a part of the community. Masks, art to share/sell/exchange, and resources are all welcome. We will offer space to share updates, concerns, and discuss how people passionate about transportation can move forward. We are not the experts, and we will not have predetermined solutions. That is for all of us to figure out.
