Critical Mass (unofficial start of Bike Week)

A (fun!) monthly no-drop bike ride, with a fabulous website. Rolling out 6:00 pm sharp. This month's ride will end on the south side and encourage folks to support businesses impacted by National Avenue reconstruction.

"Changing Lanes" Documentary Screening

Roll over to Cactus Club for a free screening of "Changing Lanes", a documentary film about a traffic death, the proposed transformation of the street where it happened, and the backlash that followed.

9th Annual Promise Zone Ride

This is a slow roll ride hosted by the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation. The route will highlight developments in the 30th Street Industrial Corridor. Dream Bikes and the Bike Fed will be at the event with a mobile bike repair station as well. This is a free event but registration is required. See here for more details.

11th Annual Milwaukee Pride Ride

Vision Zero Summit

Hosted by the City of Milwaukee, the Vision Zero Summit is a convening centered on Milwaukee’s commitment to eliminating traffic deaths and life-changing injuries by 2037. The full-day conference will include keynote conversations, panels, tours, interactive workshops, and community-led discussions featuring local and national speakers, participants will learn from local and national successes, share solutions, and leave with actionable ideas to help reduce traffic violence and create safer streets for all. Registration is required.

Lisbon Avenue Corridor Plan

The Department of City Development, in close partnership with Rooted & Rising, is launching the Lisbon Avenue Corridor Plan in the Washington Park neighborhood. The plan area focuses on Lisbon Avenue, between 27th and 46th Street, and will make recommendations related to land use, redevelopment, multimodal transportation, public spaces and economic development.
